The flat-page trade-off

A résumé is a compression artefact. It takes years of work — skills developed, roles held, projects completed, domains overlapped — and reduces it to a sequence of entries that fit a page.

Provenance. A résumé asserts skills. A graph can attach the source of a skill — the role, the project, the certification — so the claim carries evidence rather than assertion. Provenance does not verify the skill; it shows where it came from and lets the reader assess the context.

Exposure. On a flat résumé, there is no standard way to represent AI exposure. On a graph, exposure is a property of nodes and their connections, readable as a number and a visual position on the resilience ramp. That makes career risk legible in a way that a list of job titles cannot.

Who the graph format is for

The graph format is most useful when the depth and connectivity of your skills matter — in a career transition, when applying for a role that requires a cross-domain combination, or when you want to track and communicate your resilience trajectory over time.
